Data Deletion Policy
Last updated: May 17, 2026
This policy explains how to disconnect financial accounts, delete your Tranxacty account, and request deletion of data associated with your use of Tranxacty.
Disconnect A Financial Account
You can disconnect a connected bank or card account from the dashboard. Disconnecting removes local imported transaction data associated with that account and attempts to revoke Plaid access when possible.
If the account is later reconnected, new data may be imported again depending on the financial institution and Plaid availability.
Delete Your Tranxacty Account
You can request account deletion from account settings. If the account owner has an active Stripe subscription, Tranxacty attempts to cancel billing before completing account deletion.
Account deletion removes or disables access to the user account. Some team, billing, security, support, audit, tax, and legal records may be retained where permitted or required.
Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion help by emailing tranxacty@gmail.com. Include the email address on your Tranxacty account and the type of deletion request you are making.
Do not send full bank account numbers, routing numbers, passwords, or other sensitive credentials in email.
Retention Limits
Tranxacty keeps data only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, protect security, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, support billing, and prevent abuse.
Backup copies may persist for a limited period before normal backup rotation removes them.
Plaid Data
Plaid may retain or delete data under its own policies. You can review Plaid privacy and data-rights information at plaid.com/legal.
See our Connected Accounts Disclosure for more detail.
